Nine Cubes

Nine cubes from three different materials: paper, low-density foam, and a scrap material- in this case, straws.
Light Cubes

Cubes were crafted so as to play with light, requiring at least one piercing. Each cube was to embody "contrast and variety". A personal definition: "To have variety is to lack uniformity. Elements oppose one another, usually as opposites."
Light Fixtures

Three light cubes were selected and expanded on, creating an object that further manipulated light, and leaving the confines of a cubed form.
One theme from the above iterations was selected and further explored.
Final forms were made up to scale, photographed in contexted, as well as photoshopped into imaginary context.
